Q? What is the tallest stand?
A: WorkEZ Executive stands 24” from the floor to the base of the panel.
Q? How much weight can a stand hold?
A: All stands comfortbaly support 13 lbs unless indicated otherwise.
Q? What size laptop will it hold?
WorkEZ Light supports up to 16" laptops on the panel. Check the measurements on each product for more info.
Q? Which stand is best for in bed or on a couch?
A: All stands work, but we recommend WorkEZ Professional or WorkEZ Executive. They both have 3 leg segments and are more stable over your lap on a couch or in bed.
Q? What's WorkEZ made of?
A: The panel and legs are aluminum and the joints are ABS.
Q? How do I adjust WorkEZ?
A: To adjust WorkEZ to your preferred height and angle, depress the joint button and rotate the leg to the desired angle. Specific setup “how-to” can be found in the user manual in the downloads section.
Q? Which stand is best for cooling?
A: All WorkEZ models are made from aluminum. Aluminum dissipates heat, so every model will keep computers cool and prevent overheating. If you're seriously concerned about overheating, you can opt for a USB-powered cooling fan on WorkEZ Executive.
Q? How does the cooling fan work? Is is battery powered?
A: Cooling fans are available on WorkEZ Executive. A cord comes with the product that plugs the fan unit into a USB outlet on your computer. The fans are powered by the USB outlet of your computer. There is an on/off switch on the fan.
Q? The screw holding the mouse pad is getting loose. What should I do?
A: Aluminum is a soft metal. Frequent screwing and unscrewing can expand the hole. Simply pick up a nut from your local hardware store to ensure a tight fit every time!
Q? Does WorkEZ slide on a desk?
A: WorkEZ is made of aluminum, which can slide on smooth surfaces. Don't worry – you can pick up some adhesive, non-skid pads from your local hardware store. Stick them to the legs and your WorkEZ will be skid-free!
Q? Will WorkEZ work with desktop monitors?
A: All 3 WorkEZ Stands are rated to the same weight capacity (13 lbs). In general, they can hold modern, flat screen monitors just fine. Check the photos on WorkEZ Professional and WorkEZ Executive to see them in action with a desktop monitor. WorkEZ offers an excellent way to adjust your monitor height to improve your posture while sitting or standing. Plus the open-spaced bottom frees up desk space and helps you de-clutter your work area. The stands are obviously most stable at lower height settings and we encourage you to test compatibility with your monitor at lower heights first.
Questions About The WorkEZ Standing Desk:
I am 6'2" and use our products to stand up almost every day. Raising materials (screens, books, etc) to eye level was the catalyst to starting Uncaged Ergonomics. Because you're tall, I would again recommend the Executive as your monitor/laptop stand to give you more height adjustability. WorkEZ Executive extends to 2 ft plus you can rotate the panel to a near vertical orientation, giving an extra ~foot of elevation. Remember, our stands work in concert with your current desk, table, or work surface. So as long as your desk is at a "normal height", our stands should work beautifully for you.

A: We strive to ship on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule.

A: Once your order is shipped, it typically takes 3-5 business days for it to arrive at your doorstep. International shipments can take up to 7-14 days.
Q? Why did you ship my product by USPS/FedEx/Camel...?
A: In general, we choose the fastest and most affordable shipping method.
Uncaged Ergonomics stands behind our product with a 30-day replacement warranty (initiating on the purchase date). Check out the warranty page for complete details. If you have a problem with our product after 30 days, send us a message and we'll do our best to set you straight.
Domestic (USA) Customers –
We gladly (but sorrowfully) accept returns within 7 days after your purchase. Undamaged, like new products are eligible for a 100% refund (minus $1 for transaction fees). Customers are responsible for all return shipping charges.
If you return a damaged product (scratched, broken, etc.) we reserve the right to use our professional discression to refund between 50%-100% of your purchase depending on the severity of the damage.
International (non-USA) Customers -
You're probably aware that international shipping is a little expensive. Please thoroughly review our products and make sure that they will “make your life feel better” before ordering. If you have any questions, shoot us an email or give us a ring and we'll do our best to set you straight.
If you're disgusted with your order, you can return it for a refund (less shipping). International customers (like domestic customers) are responsible for return shipping.
Products returned in undamaged, like new condition are eligible for a 100% refund on the purchase price (minus $1 for transaction fees). Damaged products are eligible for a 50-100% refund (determined at Uncaged Ergonomics discretion based on the severity of the damage).
